Gazioğlu graduated from Koç University Psychology Department and completed her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology. Since 2009 she has integrated the Satir Model into her life, work and teachings.  In 2012 she completed a four year Satir Transformational Systemic Couple and Family Therapy Training Programme at Satir Institute Istanbul. She has presented her work in scope of Satir Model at IFTA and EGTA conferences.
Gazioğlu has been a  member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Couple and Family Therapies in Turkey for the last two terms. She continues her academic carreer at the Psychology Department of Maltepe University. She also gives supervision at Bilgi University Psychology Graduate Programme.  Her research interests are: well-being, technology and family issues.
